Welcome to OBEDIENT K9
OBEDIENT K9 has been offering canine obedience and behavior training, to residents in Naperville and surrounding areas, since 1996. The school focuses on positive and humane training techniques and methods. We encourage family participation and will work with the student's needs and goals. OBEDIENT K9 honors an open door policy - encouraging prospective students to visit any class of interest before enrolling. OBEDIENT K9 instructors are members of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers.)

OBEDIENT K9's mission is to create happy owners and happy dogs, which in turn will create long-term, happy homes. Our goal is to help you and your canine companion develop a positive, warm and respectful relationship.
What Makes OBEDIENT K9 Special
We commend our students for taking the steps of responsible dog ownership by learning how they and their canine friend can peacefully coexist. Most people have the misconception that dog training is all about training the dog...Wrong! It's all about you being properly trained to teach your dog what is expected of him or her. We will not train your dog. We will teach you how to train and properly handle your dog! Whether it be a serious or casual working relationship - that will be for you (or you and your family) and your canine companion to figure out. We do sincerely hope that you enjoy and have as much fun training, as we have with our dogs, regardless of where your training may take you!
OBEDIENT K9 Services
Group Classes - OBEDIENT K9 offers group classes at Wags to Whiskers, located in Oswego, Illinois. Class size is small and consists of information and exercises tailored to meet your experience level: puppy, beginner or CGC.
Private Instruction - OBEDIENT K9 also offers private instruction for obedience and behavioral issues. In-home private obedience instruction and behavioral consultation is available for Oswego, Naperville, Plainfield, Shorewood and surrounding areas. Hourly rate is based on travel distance.
